TEAM ACCEPTANCE Team acceptance emails will be sent as soon as the rosters are confirmed. Online Acceptance Registration MUST be completed, with payment, within 3 days to ensure a spot on the team. IF YOU HAVE A PLAYER THAT IS UNABLE TO ATTEND TRYOUTS FOR ANY REASON, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE IMPORTANT STEPS:
It is important to understand that United Futbol Academy cannot guarantee placement of your player and that filling out the form in no way secures a roster spot for any player. Many of the age groups located at the Forsyth branch exceed 80 to 100 players and coaches have their hands full evaluating players that are in attendance. Evaluating these numbers in 3 nights poses many challenges and tracking players unable to attend adds an additional element to the process. We are not able to offer any player a roster spot until the player has attended a camp or training session to be evaluated. Be sure to contact us once you return so we can arrange an evaluation at the earliest convenience. We are not able to offer early tryouts. Players unable to attend and hoping to move up in level are at a big disadvantage in terms of team placement as the coaches cannot compare players if they are not there. Please make every effort to attend tryouts to ensure the best opportunity for your player -- we understand that plans can be made in advance and there may be no flexibility to change them. UNIFORMS: Fitting and Order Information As a part of our ongoing partnership with Arsenal Football Development, the 2023-24 Arsenal Pre-Game jersey is part of the Annual Uniform Requirement for all teams. The 2023-24 jersey will be available in the Lloyds online uniform catalog beginning with Uniform Fitting dates in June. All UFA players for the upcoming seasons, returning and new, will be required to purchase the annual Pre-Game jersey. (Please note: Arsenal changes their pre-game jersey style every year. That is why it is a required uniform item that needs to be purchased by all players annually.) Returning players: UFA discussed last year’s jersey shortage issue with Adidas and Arsenal. To help make up for the wait in receiving the orders this past year, they have agreed to provide the pre-game jersey to UFA Academy/Select players at a reduced price this 2023-24 seasonal year. (The pre-game jersey was going to be $55; parents will only be charged $35 upon Checkout.) Please Note: Adidas is not anticipating any delays this year. See here for updated information.
