Camp Futsal

Futsal is a great skill developer, demanding quick reflexes, fast thinking and pin point passing, it is an exciting game for children as well as adults. The game is very economical and safe, simple and fun to play. Just by playing with the ball develops precise ball control and technical skill, agility, lightening reflexes and decision making. As the balls have less bounce they tend to stay in play longer and promote close ball control. After playing in enclosed areas and learning to think and react quickly, players find when they play to the full game they react well under pressure. Playing in enclosed areas develops creativity; players are also constantly placed in demanding decision making situations in enclosed areas which is a major reason why Futsal is one of the finest teachers of the quick pass and move. In soccer it is very hard to defend against a team that is adept at this type of play. Playing the beautiful game of soccer is developed through Futsal.

Summer Technical Program

The Summer Technical Program will provide advanced skill training and will focus on the technical aspects of the game to increase individual performance combined with fitness. Sessions will be dynamic, fast pace, and will cover all areas of technical development. The curriculum emphasizes explosive movement, core strength, injury prevention, juggling, ball control, fast footwork, dribbling, passing / receiving, and shooting / finishing.

Juggling and Ball Control

Mastering technique and skill is a must for young players looking to increase their ability to compete in a competitive soccer environment and enjoy the game.  In addition to developing individual touch, balance, agility, and soccer specific fitness players will be provided with a framework of how to improve their individual technique at home through structured, competitive, and fun activities Juggling is a key element to developing the foundation of soccer success: ball mastery.

Fast Footwork

Fast Footwork is a powerful method for improving your ball control and dribbling skills. Fast footwork will help you become comfortable with the ball at your feet in tight areas, allow you to get away from opponents in situations you never thought possible, not to mention develop quality “touch” in both feet.

Dribbling

Dynamic dribblers are needed all over the field, with the ability to carry the ball past an opponent while being in control, whether by using a series of simple taps or a fantastic move around a opponent. If a player can't dribble a ball, then he cannot play the game. Players will hone their footwork; learn how to beat opponents off the dribble, and how to better protect the ball.

Receiving

Mastery of receiving sets up everything that a player and the whole team wish to accomplish during a match, including maintaining possession of the ball, passing, and shooting. Receiving is one of soccer’s most fundamental individual skills and requires great concentration and practice because of the countless ways in which a ball may arrive.

Passing

The best players in the world hardly ever give it up because their game IQ is through the roof and moving the ball out of pressure and into feet or space is a big part of that. You truly need all these passes in your back pocket if you're going to be a player. Learn all kinds of different ways to distribute the ball. Including playing it long, short, weighted, over the top and with different parts of your feet, like back heel pass.

Striker / Keeper Camp

Striker Sessions

This camp was designed for players looking to improve their goal scoring technique and performance. This intensive camp will elevate your 1-on-1 skills against the goalkeeper, wide-angled shots, volleys, shots from crosses, and ‘rapid fire’ shooting games.

Focus on shooting, composure in front of the net, back-to-goal play, and of course finishing.

Scoring goals is what every striker dreams about. Simply, if you don’t score, then you are not performing well. We would say that playing striker is the toughest and most painful position to play. This is because you need to have great soccer dribbling and soccer shooting skills but also because defenders will do everything in their power to stop you. There is no greater feeling then scoring a goal, so don’t give up so easily;instead, try your best and the goals will come. The will and personality of a great striker is what all top coaches look for. Our camp focuses on the technique and the tactics a forward needs to put the ball into the back of the net.

Goalkeeper Sessions

This camp was designed for players to learn the technical skills and tactical knowledge needed to be successful keepers. This camp will also focus on the physical, mental, and social elements of the game, developing players as individuals within 1-on-1 situations, as well as gaining an understanding of working as a team both in defensive and attacking situations. We will focus on diving saves, throwing, boxing, goal kicks, positioning, and reading the game.

As the goalie you will be the last one who can stop your opponent’s from scoring. You must therefore make few mistakes as possible. You need also to keep yourself cool even when you fail. To maintain your calm in difficult situations you will need a great personality and also ability to infect your teammates with your own confidence.
